Meet Our Team
Dr. Sandra Black
D.V.M.
Dr. Sandra Black earned her BS and DVM at the University of Florida. Shortly after graduation, she moved to western North Carolina and worked in Hendersonville and Etowah for a couple years. She joined Sylva Animal Hospital in 1994, working part time while pursuing her MBA at WCU. Since 1998, she has been a co-owner of the clinic, working full time as veterinarian.
Dr. Dianna Bragg
D.V.M.
Dr. Bragg was born and raised in the Charleston, WV area. She obtained her undergraduate degree at West Virginia University and her degree of veterinary medicine at The Ohio State University. She moved to this area when her husband took a position at the paper mill in Canton. The animals in her life include a Great Dane, two cats, and a horse. In her spare time, she enjoys training her Great Dane and showing him in obedience trials, riding her horse, or going to the movies.
Allyson
Veterinary Technician
Allyson has been with our practice since 2005. She received her degree as a Veterinary Technician in 2006 from AB Tech. She has five dogs and one cat. She loves stumpy dogs and fat cats! When she is not working, she loves spending time with her husband and two children.
Aaron
Assistant
Aaron joined our team a year ago. He lives with his two dogs, Diesel and Roxy, and one snake, Monty in Bryson City. He is currently enrolled at Western Carolina University and ultimately plans to attend Veterinary school at Oklahoma State University.
